Seiryu Ryokan is a small, traditional ryokan in pure Japanese style.
All guest rooms are Japanese-style with tatami and guests change into Yukata (light Japanese kimono worn as a bath robe) and slippers when they are in the ryokan. The ryokan also has an onsen (hot spring).


Old Private Houses
The special feature of this ryokan is its good location.

The ryokan is situated 7 minutes walk from JR Takayama Station. Popular sightseeing spots such as the Old Private Houses and Hida Kokubunji Temple are within 5 minutes walk and the red Nakabashi Bridge and Takayama Jinya are within 7 minutes walk.
You can use the ryokan as a base to enjoy sightseeing in Takayama to your heart’s content.
If you wish to visit sightseeing spots in the suburbs of Takayama City such as Hida no Sato (Hida Folk Village) or Hida Takayama Museum of Art, the excursion bus that leaves from the front of JR Takayama Station is convenient. An express bus to Shirakawago also leaves from the front of Takayama Station.
