【Types of Visa】

Visas for Japan are usually sticker-type and are attached to the visa pages of a passport. Depending on the purpose of entry to Japan, one of the 7 following types of visa will be issued: diplomatic, official, working, general, temporary visitor, transit and specified.

【Visa Applications】

If you have a Taiwanese passport displaying an identification number, you are not required to apply for a temporary visitor visa (90 days). However, please note that if you are travelling to Japan for one of the following purposes: work, engaging in business affairs that incur profit, overseas study, company training, etc., you are required to obtain the corresponding visa.

Hong Kong
