New Chitose Airport is a second class airport located spanning Chitose City and Tomakomai City in Hokkaido. The airport terminal is located in Chitose City. It is the largest airport in Hokkaido and functions as the sky gateway to Hokkaido. It is adjacent to and adjoins the Japan Air Self-Defense Force Chitose Air Base and it is an airport that has implications as an important base in the aerial defence of Japan with air traffic control being integrally conducted by the Air Self-Defense Force.

2.Coin lockers
