Yado.com is an inbound accommodation reservations portal site providing Japanese onsen ryokan ( hot spring inn ) information for foreign visitors. As well as bookings for accommodation on the internet, this site is full of information about travel in Japan such as sightseeing in each city, transportation and monthly features. Feel free to make use of this site when travelling to Japan.
How to reserve accommodation

Points to note after making a reservation
STEP1:Search for the inn that you wish to stay at

- ■ Searching the list of facilities
- By clicking the 【List of facilities】 button, the list of facilities page will open and you will see a list of all the accommodation offered by yado.com from Hokkaido to Kyushu. By clicking on the desired inn, the inn page with detailed information will open and you will see available reservation plans.
- ■ Searching from the map
- By clicking a destination from
【Area / Airport/Station / Onsen Resort】, a list of accommodation facilities in the area of your of your choice and a map of the surrounding area will be displayed. Click on the inn that you want to see and the inn page with detailed information will open and you will see available reservation plans.
STEP2:Deciphering the details of accommodation plans
Open the accommodation plan page from each accommodation facility page with detailed information and select the plan of your choice.
By clicking the room type in the plan that you have chosen, you can see details such as information on meals, check-in / check-out times and room types as well as additional options that are available for the accommodation plan that you have selected.
STEP3:Select a reservation method
Proceed to reservation
Check available reservation dates and fees and click your choice of dates on the calendar.
You are now entering the reservations page so please determine the number of people, nights and fee plan, etc. before proceeding to the reservations form.
STEP4:Enter your details
- 1. Entering guest information
- Enter the names, mail addresses, addresses and telephone numbers of the guests.
Proceed to the confirmation page after entering all the information. - 2. Reservation confirmation screen
- Check the accommodation plan, fees, number of people, number of nights, etc. then click the “Reserve” button to confirm the reservation.
STEP5:Completion of reservation
Once you have proceeded to the page for entering your information and the reservation is complete, you will receive a reservation confirmation e-mail to from yado.com at the mail address that you entered. Please make sure that all the details of the reservation are correct. If everything is OK, print out the confirmation mail and bring it to the inn with you.
If you wish to change the reservation details or cancel, you can do this from the reservation details page. Please note that there are limits to the details that can be changed and the period of time in which changes can be made.
※Reservation applications can be checked after entering reservation details and clicking on the “Check reservation” button on the confirmation of details page.
※1 Payment in Japan
If you will make the payment when you arrive, we recommend that you bring a copy of the “reservation confirmation mail” or the “reservation status details” with you in order to avoid any problems.
※2 Contact after reservation
On yado.com, when you use the internet to make an application for a reservation, the reservation is regarded as having been accepted when the “reservation number” is displayed. When your reservation is accepted, the information that is displayed on the “details confirmation” page will be sent to the accommodation facility of your choice within 24 hours.
If you wish to contact the accommodation facility directly for additional reservations after the initial reservation, etc. please use the facility mail address provided in the reservation confirmation e-mail. Enquiries concerning cancellation fees, etc. after the initial reservation should also be directed to each individual accommodation facility.
