China Union Pay Card
It has been possible to use the China Union Pay Card that is issued in mainland China in Japan since 2005.

If you fulfill either of the following conditions: Japanese national over 18 years of age or long-term foreign resident in Japan, it is possible to apply for a credit card straightaway if you have some identification with you.
